PASSAGE AFC 2
DOUGLAS HALL 2
The U16 Boys played their part in a
Local Derby with Douglas Hall and had they made the most of their first half dominance may have come away with all 3 points.
The Lads played well in the first half and were a bit disappointed to only be leading 1-0 at half time.
The Opening goal came from Ronan Allen who finished from close range
After a sustained spell of pressure in the Douglas Hall goalmouth.
Douglas started the second half much brighter and turned the game on its head with 2 goals in relatively quick succession midway through the second half.
Passage regained their composure after a spell and gradually wrestled back control of the game .
Daniel Akinsanya ran onto a great through ball down a channel on the right hand side of the pitch before finishing with great composure and accuracy.
Daniel is playing really good football and finding the net on a regular basis for the U15 and U16 Boys Teams having bagged a hat trick yesterday in a challenge match against Fermoy.
Thanks for the great support at Rockenham especially to our injured players , Sean Casey, Alvarro and Conall who turned out to support their Team though unable to play themselves.
